IT'S THAT TIME OF THE YEAR...
We are pleased to announce the second year of our Toys 4 kids campaign to support local Cochrane families in need during the Holiday Season.
We all know how much our community has changed over the past two years, and some families have been impacted more than others. With Christmas around the corner, we would like to take this opportunity to give back and bring Christmas cheer to those who need it the most.
The Rocky Mountain Rotary Club will be collecting toys, gift cards, and cash to purchase toys until Wednesday, December 14th. All contributions will be received at the Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre and at Cochrane Toyota. Cash and cheques are being accepted too for those who want to participate but are not able to go out and buy toys.
As we know that only kids know what kids want, we'll have the Cochrane Ringette Association's help to decide what toys to buy.
The Rocky Mountain Rotary Club is also looking for nominations. If you know a family or individual that could use a hand this Christmas season, tell us a little bit about their story and nominate them to receive some holiday cheer
We'll reach out to all the eligible nominated families ahead of time. We want to encourage our beloved Cochrane Community to come together and join us in this act of kindness!
